Opening Doors 2026 brings together leaders and practitioners across youth-serving nonprofits, government, education, philanthropy, advocacy, and community organizations to explore what it takes to build a more connected ecosystem of care for young people.
As we plan this year’s summit, we’re reflecting on how the conference can best support the people doing this work. We’ll bring the focus together around two urgent areas shaping young people’s lives: mental health and economic mobility—while exploring how systems can better respond to the diverse experiences and needs of all young people.

Across both themes, Opening Doors 2026 will explore what it takes to build a truly connected ecosystem of care where every young person can find safety, support, and a pathway forward, when and where they need it.
Over two days of inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and collaborative learning experiences, participants will explore emerging challenges, promising ideas, and practical approaches for strengthening the youth development ecosystem.
Day One will focus on thought leadership, emerging trends, and innovative ideas shaping the future of the field.
Day Two will turn toward action, highlighting strategies, partnerships, and approaches organizations can put into practice.
Participants will leave with fresh ideas, practical strategies, and stronger cross-sector connections. The summit will also offer meaningful opportunities for professional learning and continuing education, while creating space for collective impact and authentic youth voice.
