About me
Randy Moore works at the intersection of workforce development, postsecondary
education, and philanthropy, with a focus on expanding economic mobility for untapped—
and often underestimated—talent and communities. His experience spans corporate,
nonprofit, educational, and philanthropic settings.
He currently serves as Foundation President at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a private
investment firm, where he oversees the firm’s philanthropic strategy and investments in the
U.S. and U.K. to advance equity through employment opportunity.
Previously, Randy held roles at COOP Careers, The James and Judith K. Dimon
Foundation/HERE to HERE, CUNY’s Guttman Community College, and Year Up,
contributing to efforts that strengthen education-to-employment pathways and employer
partnerships.
He is a graduate of Wilberforce University (HBCU), holds a master’s degree in Bilingual
Education from Adelphi University, and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership &
Innovation at Arizona State University.
He believes the work of building a more equitable society will be complete when roles like
his are no longer necessary.
