About me
Eve Stotland is the Program Director for Civic Affairs and Human Justice at The New
York Community Trust, where she directs resources to nonprofits, including grassroots
organizers, civil rights advocates, and policy experts. She has supported successful
campaigns to reduce fines and fees for low-income drivers, bolster the rights of parents
accused of child maltreatment, and increase the minimum wage for delivery workers.
Eve spent more than fifteen years running legal services programs representing clients
in immigration, family law, disability, and public benefits matters. As Director of Legal
Services at The Door, she helped create a system of representation for NYC children in
deportation proceedings. She serves on the board of the National Center for Law and
Economic Justice. Eve is a graduate of Brown University and Yale Law School.
