About me
Gregory J. Morris is a seasoned nonprofit executive and workforce development leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing equity and opportunity in New York City. As CEO of the New York City Employment and Training Coalition (NYCETC), he leads advocacy and policy efforts that strengthen the city’s workforce system and improve economic outcomes for jobseekers across all five boroughs.
Prior to joining NYCETC, Morris served as President and Executive Director of the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center. In 2021, he successfully initiated and oversaw the merger of the Isaacs Center with Goddard Riverside Community Center, expanding access to critical social services and building long-term sustainability for both organizations.
Morris previously held senior leadership roles at The Children’s Aid Society, The Door – A Center of Alternatives, and University Settlement Society of New York, where he began his career in 1993.
He holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, a bachelor’s degree from New York University, and an Advanced Certificate in Public Health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy.
Morris currently serves on several citywide advisory bodies and is a member of Manhattan Community Board 4, where he co-chairs the Chelsea Land Use Committee.
